What to expect at the Small Festival
Small on numbers with a big heart, the Small Festival invites you to come along with friends, family or on your own and be part of a unique creative experience.
With no distinction between participants and performers everyone attending creates the festival. Whether you choose to offer a workshop or just take part, there are activities to suit all tastes and we make a real effort to ensure that people feel welcome and included. We create an environment where you can relax, connect with others and have fun. Previous activities have ranged from sock puppetry to learning the Haka, origami to walks in nature, singing and line dancing (not at the same time), a Book Group and musical jam sessions.....
So, when you book your tickets you can let us know what, if anything, you wish to offer. And when you arrive, we make sure that you get to meet and mingle with others so it makes for a very friendly atmosphere.
As well as enjoying gourmet veggie food together – included in the price of your ticket – we have a cabaret every night where you can take the opportunity to perform in front of a really appreciative audience or just sit back and be entertained. Maybe you’ll discover a new talent or revive an old one. As well as the nightly cabaret there’s also a campfire to sit around into the wee small hours and a Saturday-night disco for all ages.
Accommodation is in dormitories or camping and you don’t need to spend any money while you’re there!
The Small Festival. A Festival with a difference. Come and be part of it!
